History

Nippon's Seiro's origins date back to 1929 when it was formed as a subsidiary of a national enterprise. In May 1930 Nippon Seiro began production at its Tokuyama plant as the pioneer of paraffin wax production in Japan. The company was in closed in 1945 following a closure order after WWII.

In 1951 the company was reformed under the name of Nippon Seiro Co., Ltd., continuing the business of the former company.

Nippon Seiro has been listed on the Tokyo Stock Exchange since 1963. Nippon Seiro has steadily expanded it production capacity up to its present level of 8,000mt per month and is still the leading manufacturer of petroleum waxes in Japan and a leader of high-quality wax products around the world.
